Your account

You need a MaiSay account to keep your practice, and your sign-in is yours alone to use. You can close the account at any time from Settings › Your data.

Your plan

The free plan gives you 2 lessons a day, and speaking inside a lesson is unlimited. MaiSay Pro lifts the daily lesson limit and is billed by the store you bought it from.

Your recordings

When you speak in the app, MaiSay keeps the recording, linked to your account, and uses it to improve scoring and to fix problems. Settings › Your data carries a switch for this, and it starts on.

Turning recordings off, and leaving

Turning the switch off stops new recordings being kept, and the ones already kept stay. Deleting your account removes the recordings nothing has used yet. A recording already used for labelling or training is kept, and so is what was derived from it.

Resetting your progress

A reset clears your learning state and takes you back to onboarding. Your account, plan, saved study sets, recordings and voice history stay.

Speaking scores

A score is software judging one recording, and software can be wrong. Treat it as practice feedback, not as a qualification.

What you share

Other learners can see the study sets you share, and your name and picture on game boards. Don't post anything hateful, sexual, harassing or spam, and don't abuse other learners. MaiSay removes content like that and may close the account behind it. Anyone can report a set or a learner, or block them, from inside the app.

Changes to these terms

A material change raises the version of this document, and MaiSay asks you to accept the new one before you carry on.
